Hope Mills Little League Opening Day
One of our favorite community events is attending and sponsoring Hope Mills Little League Opening Day. It is a great day of celebrating local baseball, families, and the start of a new season.
We proudly supported the Town of Hope Mills Athletic Association to help cover important league needs, including:
- Bases
- Umpires
- Uniforms
- Field Maintenance
We also enjoy taking pictures with Gordie and being part of the Opening Day ceremonies. Supporting youth sports helps create opportunities for kids to learn teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship in a fun and positive environment.
Tony Jernigan Memorial Golf Tournament
Gore Plumbing, Heating & Air is a proud supporter of the Tony Jernigan Memorial Golf Tournament. Tony Jernigan was a visionary leader and a dedicated servant who poured his heart into Camp Dixie until his passing in 1993. This tournament lives on as a lasting tribute to Tony’s life, commitment, and service, while also celebrating and honoring his family.
Through the years, the tournament has played a vital role in funding camper scholarships, upgrading facilities, purchasing bunk beds, and supporting other essential needs across the camp.
Community events like this help bring people together while supporting meaningful causes and local programs. We’re always grateful for opportunities to participate in events that make a difference in our area.
Pine Forest High School Athletic Department
We were also honored to sponsor the Pine Forest High School athletic program. Supporting student athletes is about more than sports—it’s an investment in the next generation. By backing these programs, we help young people develop confidence, teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the game.
We’re honored to play a small role in creating positive opportunities that support students both on and off the field and encourage them to reach their full potential.
Grace Creek High School Football Team
