AARON supplied pictures of his work in testing our heating which were in code for this winter, no problems.   Been with them for many years.  No problems with staff. Ethan Gore came out to give us an estimate for our a/c system. We ended up purchasing a glass pack a/c and propane heating. Ethan may be a very young man, but he is very knowledgeable in his trade.  He took pictures of the cause & explained thoroughly what needed to be done. He checked all areas of the house. He provided several options of work to be done.  No pushy sales pitch, just an honest assessment with choices. We appreciated that we received same day service when we had a plumbing emergency late in the day.  He fixed the plumbing issue that we needed done ASAP.  Excellent work, knowledgeable, & friendly. Aaron Kelner was our service Tech today. He came back to finish our repairs. There was a delay on the part of our company getting approval to complete the work needed. The approval came in yesterday late afternoon and Aaron's was sent 1st thing this morning. Aaron was very professional and had us up and running in not ime.
Aaron also had a young apprentice with him and was very patient with him showing him what needed to be done and talking him through. I am impressed that Gore Heating and Air gives our youth such a great opportunity to learn a valuable trade.

I highly recommend Lonny Jones and the team at Gore Plumbing, Heating & Air! They replaced my AC unit today in an incredibly short amount of time. My house had reached 90 degrees, and thanks to their hard work, it’s now a comfortable 74 degrees.

They were dedicated to getting the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible without sacrificing quality. They arrived on time, were professional throughout the entire process, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left.

I had a great experience with Ethan the HVAC technicians who came to my home. They worked on my AC unit and water pipes, and from start to finish they were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.
They arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I know this is a long review, but trust me, you'll want to read it!

We had been having issues with our thermostat for a while. We've gone to other HVAC places for things over the years, rarely ever accepting their services/help after they tried to upsell, talk to me like I'm an ignorant woman, and charged me way too much to do a very simple task. I just needed it taken off my plate, so I didn't have to do yet another thing.

So far, Gore has had the best track record with me, as I have approved for them to come out and do the work, rather than me just do it myself. I hired Gore previously to change a part. I trust and value Gore, so I wanted them to come out and make sure that it was, in fact, my thermostat.

After I had troubleshooted everything I could on my own, it had come down to either the wiring within my HVAC or my thermostat. I not only needed clarification on what was actually happening, but also who could help me fix the issue. I get nervous with wiring and electrical issues, so I wanted some help on this one.

Charles from Gore came out, and as I explained what I was running into, he helped me understand the issue and why it was happening. It turned out I was right about the problem. Charles explained what my HVAC was doing, why it was doing it, and that the issue actually came down to the installation of my thermostat (which was installed through a security company), not my HVAC itself. The thermostat was wired into the HVAC wrong. That means the thermostat had been miswired from the beginning, causing my HVAC to overwork for years and eventually leading to expensive parts failing and so many other companies telling me it would be better to just buy an entirely new HVAC. Funny, I would have spent a bunch of money, only to never resolve the issue.

The security company kept insisting the thermostat showed no issues on their end, and we had already had two of their technicians come out who also found "no issues." Because Charles took the time to explain exactly what was happening and why, I was able to call the security company, explain what my HVAC was doing, explain why the thermostat wiring was the actual issue, and finally hold them accountable.

That same day, I was finally able to get my HVAC working properly, have AC in my house for the first time in a few years, defend myself when the security company yet again claimed it wasn't a issue on their end, and identify they installed the wrong  thermostat that had the wrong wiring for the type of system I do not even have (not Gore!), and not only explain why and how it was their thermostat causing the issue, but also get them to replace it free of charge.

Charles was the blessing we have needed for quite a long time. I can't even begin to explain how much this man has helped! I have suffered through so much heat exhaustion over the last few years trying to get this same issue resolved. The thermostat problem had been causing my HVAC to overwork, expensive parts to fail, and it took a long time to save up the money to replace them. We should have found out about Gore much sooner!

Direct quote from my husband, "Charles is the most best and wonderful man that has ever lived! We are naming our next kid after him, boy or girl, don't care." He says this while standing under a vent that is blasting cold air on him, for the first time in over 3 years. He also just finished working out and it's almost 90° out in this ridiculously humid state.

Aaron did a phenomenal job on Monday the 29th! He handled the entire service completely on his own and didn't miss a beat. Professional, fast, and left everything spotless. Aaron came to our meeting place today, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Red Springs and service 2 of our units. He replaced capacitors on both units that were on their way out, and added freon to one.  Aaron was truly professional and very detailed in his work.  I appreciate his work ethic. He took the time to explain the maintenance program and gave detailed explanations on everything he found that needed to be done. I can’t say enough good things about this company! Our A/C went out on one of the hottest days this summer, and they came to the rescue fast. The technician, Ethan, was professional, knowledgeable, and had everything up and running again in no time. He explained everything clearly and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. Update 3/17/25 - Still use Gore heating and Air and still receive great service.  Ethan came most recently to do our spring maintenance.  He was very professional and knowledgeable.  They will be replacing a part to ensure our AC unit works properly this summer.

Gore Heating & Air did an outstanding job replacing the duct work in our house at a significantly lower cost than the other quotes I received from other Fayetteville companies. Nick Gore conducted a thorough job measuring and planning the duct work to ensure that we got peek performance from our HVAC. The amount of air flow has increased significantly and is more evenly dispersed throughout the house. Josh Adams came out to uninstall the fireplace insert. I’ve been trying to get it repaired for years and the cost is way too high . It appears to be a simple repair, but I can’t find anyone to do it without charging a lot of money. I hope that the unit can be recycled and that someone else can enjoy it as I did. Had Gore come out for an estimate. Absolutely professional and detailed with many great options. Punctual and polite. Highly recommend them at this point. Rates are comparable and fair.

Just had them complete the install. You couldn't even tell they had been here aside from the new unit. Very professional and courteous. Kept me informed throughout the install. Works beautifully.

Just had the yearly service done on both my units as one hasn’t been done in a while. Great service with that as well.

Just had them out for an issue we were having and they took care of it for us seamlessly. Great work and very appreciated.
